Eden e-bikes specialists in the running for Northern Enterprise Awards

Local family run, independent electric bike specialist shop Eden-e-Motion has been nominated for the Northern Enterprise Awards.

Run by husband and wife team, Paul and Kat Clow, Eden-e-Motion was awarded Female Friendly Bike Shop accreditation by the Association of Cycle Traders earlier this year, and are now up for the NEAs hosted by SME News.

The awards for small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) celebrate the industriousness and the dedication of the businesses and enterprise hailing from the North.

Paul said: “The news came completely out of the blue, and we don’t know who has nominated us, however, we would like to say thank you to them – whichever of our customers it was.

“Our approach to business is to be the best at what we do – offer the best service to our customers; before, during and especially after they have purchased from us.”

Kat said: “Customer service is at the heart of what we do, and to be nominated for an award like this, is very special as it comes from one of our clients.

“Our aim is to ensure our customers get the right e-bike for their needs and budget. We have just introduced a new range of e-bikes which are good quality and under £1,000 as many people don’t have the budget to spend on the top brand, higher end bikes.

“Providing good service, good value for money and the opportunity to be part of the local e-biking community is our ethos for business. Providing one-to-one induction rides for new riders, a programme of free guided rides around the Eden Valley and running competitions for riders to share their favourite routes are all part of our service to customers. ”

Nominations for the awards are based upon dedication to client satisfaction, innovation in product development or for displaying excellence in services offered. Eden-e-Motion will now have to wait until 9 September when the winners of the 2019 Northern Enterprise Awards will be announced.
